How can you say your truly lived if you don’t gamble?
Leo Aether will release his first single sung in English titled “Vultures”, on October 25th, 2025. Taking elements from acoustic blues, Vultures takes place on a Western soundscape, using rock n’ roll as a vehicle for vocal and poetic layers that challenge doubt from its opening line: “You should’ve never made a deal with the devil, should’ve never played the game and cross the line; should’ve listened to the words of my mother: if you stare into the sun, you lose your sight…”
This song rings as a cautionary tale in a moment when free speech is under siege: “You should’ve never let me put pen to paper, I should’ve never spilled the ink and stain your mind…”
In the wake of the A.I. era, making music with no auto-tune and recording real musical instruments might seem silly for some. For Leo Aether, making music full of nuance and unpredictability is the most natural process, in fact the only process worth capturing.
The singer songwriter recorded this song as a collaboration with his bandmates, with Dennis Kazakowitz on Drums, Orlando Cruz on bass, and Juan Gutti as a featured guest on the lead guitar. Additionally, the rythm section was recorded in Bynx Records studios.
