Hola!

Quiero compartirles de un par de eventos en los cuales estare participando en este mes de Agosto, que son muy significativos, y reflejan el espiritu de union que hace tanto se hallaba disipado.\

Tambien, se que he estado fuera de las tarimas por un tiempo ya, trabajando duro en la materializacion del proyecto “Vuelo al Sur“, y “Garabatos y Ruidos“, y debido al inevitable naturaleza de las cosas, vuelvo a la tarima con una perspectiva llena de experiencias y positivismo.

Primero, quiero informarles que una vez mas he sido invitado a ser parte del evento “A Night of Rock en Español”, el cual toma lugar en The Haven Lounge en Orlando, FL.

Esta ves esataran en escena Ñeco Peña, Liquid Circle, Ray Liriano y La Liga, Farith Quiroga, y su servidor, Leo Aether. El evento se llevara a cabo el 8 de Agosto, y promete ser tan exitoso como en sus previas versiones, en las cuales el publico se ha llevado una increible experiencia.

Segundo, quiero comentarles de un evento que yo mismo estoy organizando y produciendo para el 20 de Agosto, y en el cual apoyare el tour de mis hermanos de Minimal, la banda de Rock Alterlatino por excelencia de Miami, que esta en tour promocial de su mas reciente disco, “Fauna“. Me siento muy feliz de compartir la tarima con ellos y mis amigos de Ray Liriano y la Liga.

Este evento se llevara a cabo en Will’s Pub, el templo de la musica alternativa de Orlando.

Hello there!

I want to share a couple of events in which I will be participating in this month of August, which are very significant and reflect the spirit of unity that was a bit dissipated in the local scene.

Also, I’ve been off the stage for some time now, working hard on the realization of the project “Vuelo al Sur”, and “Garabatos y Ruidos”; nevertheless, due to the unavoidable nature of things, I am back to the stage with a perspective full of experiences and positivism.

First, I want to inform you that I have been invited once more to be a part of the event “A Night of Rock en Español”, which takes place at The Haven Lounge in Orlando, FL.

This time, performances by Ñeco Peña, Liquid Circle, Ray Liriano y La Liga, Farith Quiroga, and, yours truly, Leo Aether, will take place. The event will be held on August 8, and it promises to be as successful as their previous versions, in which the public has had an incredible experience.

Second, I want to tell you of an event that I’m organizing and producing for August 20, and in which I will be supporting the tour of my brothers from Minimal, the quintessential alterlatino Rock Band from Miami. They are in a promotional tour of their latest album, “Fauna”. I am very happy to share the stage with them and my friends of Ray Liriano y La Liga.

This event will be held at Will’s Pub, the temple of the alternative music of Orlando.

Hace poco conocí a un buen músico y excelente persona, Walter García (Wgarcias).

Con poco tiempo para ensayar y utilizando nuestras herramientas mas inmediatas, improvisamos un set electro-rock experimental, para nuestra participación en un evento de Rock en Español en la ciudad de Orlando.

Me sentí muy afortunado de trabajar con un músico con un espíritu de adaptación similar al que siempre intento alcanzar; otra memoria única e indeleble.

Decidimos hacer una modesta grabación Lo-Fi de nuestro ensayo. Aqui esta el resultado, espero les guste:

Not too long ago, I met a great musician and excellent person, Walter García (Wgarcias).

With little time to rehearse and using our most readily available tools, we managed to improvise an electro-rock, experimental set, for our participation on a Rock en Español event in the city of Orlando.

I felt very thankful to work with another musician with the same spirit of adaptation I strive for, another unique, indelible memory.

We decided to make a modest Lo-Fi recording of our rehearsal. Here are the results, I hope you enjoy them:

Hello!

I was invited to play a Rock en Español event in Orlando, FL, which will feature local bands Ñeco Peña, Ser, and Vagabundos. I feel very honored to be included on this event, which is a local, independent effort, and which showcases the variety of talent in the city.

I will be playing a very minimalist set, aided by my good friend Walter Garcia, a multi-instrumentalist, who will support me on the drum machine and pads. I am very excited about our set!

We will be playing at The Haven Lounge, an Orlando venue with one of the best sound systems in the city!
